Community Resources
Some Boone teachers and parents are coordinating a 50th Ward mutual aid in response to COVID-19. Luckily, our neighborhood is full of helpers. We have volunteers ready to help navigate City and State relief services, run light errands with extensive safety protocol, phone bank to check in on the elderly and more. If you need any support or resources, please fill out the Request for Help form. If you own or work for a small business and would like to help in amplifying the needs of employees, please fill out the Small Business form. If you would like to offer any skills or services (many remote options), please fill out the Volunteer form. Thank you and stay safe!
United States Census
A reminder that it’s not too late to make sure you and your family are COUNTED in the United States 2020 Census! Click here for the US Census website.
Raise your students’ 2020 Census awareness and enthusiasm by showing them the video best suited to their ages and grade levels, from pre-K through high school. Each video explains the value of census data and why it’s important for everyone to be counted, and features engaging and interactive content that can be used to support other Statistics in Schools activities.
